The Bishop sisters began the Bishop Scholarship Foundation in hopes of giving back to the community that we were raised in. When pondering over our lives and how far we’ve come it sparked something in us to do more than just talk about impacting change but, to create it.

The Bishop Scholarship Foundation Criteria
• Applicant must be a graduating female senior.
• Must live in Leflore County for a least a year.
• Proof of college acceptance letter to a 2/4 year college.
• Student ID number must be provided for funds disbursement.
• Submit a 250 word essay stating why you should be chosen for the scholarship
• High school GPA 2.5 or higher (High school transcript must be provided)
• NO ACT requirement
• A letter of recommendation is required from a former/current teacher.
